Our next generation USB-C products with ExtremeUSB technology extend USB 3-2-1 and 4K video signals reliably well beyond standard cable distance limitations. Our two-piece solution consists of a Local Extender (LEX) that connects to a Host and a Remote Extender (REX) that connects to USB and/or video devices. The LEX and REX are then connected by a single standard CAT 5e or fiber cable to provide the required distance up to 100m. ExtremeUSB plug and play connectivity is compatible with any operating system, making our solutions ideal for ProAV, Broadcasting, Industrial and Medical applications or any other set-up that requires reliable USB 3-2-1 or 4K video extension over a single cable. Our Raven (USB 3-2-1) and Arbutus (USB 3-2-1+Video) extender systems will be available through distribution very soon under the Icron brand as well as several options for OEM customers including private label, PCBAs, and the BlackBird ASIC chipset.
